The GripEdge GE8ASMHSRPT is an 8-piece metric RPT (Rounding Prevention Technology) short hex bit socket set with a 1/4" drive, covering sizes 1.5mm through to 7mm. Designed to completely replace traditional hex drive tools, this set works on both new and severely stripped or damaged fasteners.

GripEdge's patented bi-directional design delivers up to 50% more torque on new fasteners and up to 400% more torque on damaged ones. In an emergency where a replacement fastener isn't available, RPT technology even allows a damaged fastener to be temporarily retightened. Each socket is precision machined from premium S2 steel, laser-etched for clear size markings, and coated with zinc phosphate for superior corrosion resistance.
